The Relationship Between the Amount of Time for Brace Wear and Its Psychological Effects and the Level of Social Participation of Adolescents With Spinal Deformity

Background and Objectives: Braces are common non-surgical treatments for the management of spinal deformities in adolescents. There factors that may determine success deformities. Hence aim current study was to investigate relationship between amount time brace wear its psychological effects level social participation adolescents with deformity. Subjects Methods we examined undergoing treatment deformity attending Ahvaz Technical Orthopedic Centers. Among them, 30 including 3 males 27 females (mean age: 14.7 (1.92) years) were included study. Sampling method simple non-probability sampling. Data collected using Fear Negative Evaluation questionnaire, Participation Scale Bad Sobernheimer stress (Deformity) (brace) questionnaire. The duration (hours months) also recorded. Statistical analysis performed Spearman correlation coefficient calculation correlational analysis.
